Hi everyone. Just checking in to see how everyone is doing. I’m curious about whether 32GB of RAM should be installed in dual-channel or quad-channel configuration—what factors make one option preferable over the other? Plus, anyone have any insights on current pricing for 32GB RAM modules?

If you have four RAM sticks and the choice is dual or quad channel, opt for quad to fully utilize the setup. The best option depends on your needs. For a gaming system meant for playing games and browsing, performance gains from one configuration over another are usually minimal. I own a HEDT with quad channel and a gaming rig with dual channel. Both have four sticks now, but I used only two 8GB sticks in the gaming rig to try dual channel without noticing any difference in gameplay.
This processor is probably a Ryzen 3300X unless you've assembled it yourself.
