HI everyone.
I’m here sharing my thoughts with you.

This project is being handled through a PC shop, so I prefer not to seek their opinion as they often prioritize profit over optimal performance for individual needs.
I would greatly appreciate any advice you can provide.
The SSD drive isn’t important to me at all.

you won't see the distinction every day with either CPU.
they're so similar in performance that it's not a big concern. the only way to notice the difference is by spending time comparing benchmarks and stats. otherwise, just flip a coin and you'll find either one works well.

In a blind test, I challenge anyone to distinguish the results.

Processors perform similarly at this price level. I’d give the i5-13400 a slight advantage since it offers better single-thread speed, which matters most for gaming.
CPU-Z Benchmark for Intel Core i5-13400F (1T) - CPU-Z VALIDATOR
Top CPU performance - 64-bit - July 2023
valid.x86.fr
For a small price variation, I’d opt for the i5-13400 with the graphics included.
Should you encounter any GPU problems, the integrated solution can help.
Both chips come with sufficient cooling systems.
The AK400 offers only a minor improvement.
If you plan to purchase an aftermarket cooler, choose a quality one.
Purchasing a single 16GB RAM stick is not advisable.
Processors operate more efficiently with a dual 8GB setup.
Avoid buying a low-quality power supply unit. The Corsair model is considered entry-level.
PSU Tier List rev. 17.0g - Cultists Network
The PSU Tier List can assist in selecting the optimal power supply from numerous options available. Whether budget or premium.
cultists.network
It only provides a 3-year warranty.
You’re likely seeking a PSU with a minimum of 5 years, preferably 7-10 years.
Consider Seasonic focus or Corsair RM x models.
And I’d recommend a 750W or higher unit.
Either processor supports future GPU upgrades more effectively.

A substantial collection of benchmarks indicates the 13400 reaches 15% speed improvements in applications and around 5 to 6% gains in gaming performance, provided there’s no GPU bottleneck. The difference isn’t massive, but for those willing to invest, choosing the model with better efficiency is worthwhile.

Intel Core i5-13400F Review - Force of Efficiency
Priced at just $200, this chip features six Performance Cores and four E-Cores, totaling 16 threads. While its performance meets expectations, the real standout lies in its energy efficiency, validated by our thorough testing.
