I’m considering upgrading to the i9 10850k while keeping the 980 Pro M.2 Gen4. I noticed the M.2 slot isn’t 4.0, so I’m looking for another board around $230 that pairs well with my 980 Pro SSD. Should I stick with the current setup or explore alternatives?

Sadly, the 10850k model is limited to Gen 3.0 channels, making the upgrade between Gen 4 and Gen 3 irrelevant.
