Hi, everyone,
I just tried a Guitar Hero 3 demo with my girlfriend and she enjoyed it, which made me consider getting this old game. But I need at least one guitar controller, which brought up a question: what’s the top choice for a guitar controller? I think the GH3 is decent, but I haven’t played any other rhythm games before, so maybe something better exists.
It might seem silly to start with those old music titles like Rockband 4 and Guitar Hero Live, but I’m not sure. Perhaps spending 300 bucks on RB4 and GH Live isn’t worth it. That’s why I believe buying Guitar Hero 3 is the smartest move right now.
So, what’s the best guitar hero controller?

Apparently, numerous "pro" Guitar Hero players use either the white Xplorer or the black Les Paul. Be aware that the 360 variation for these controllers is advised, since they offer minimal input lag and provide a smoother experience overall. Most users favor the Xplorer, as it functions as a wired USB controller.
