Hi,
I haven't overclocked before. It seems it's time to try it on my next PC. In the past, I handled the parts myself. I used to get them from a local shop that offered good prices and service. Now I wonder if there are new factors to consider when overclocking. Since losing warranty would mean less support, why not choose a more affordable option? Also, could there be stores that sell CPUs/GPUs better suited for overclocking? Any suggestions or general tips would be appreciated.
Thanks for your help

I believe most users on these platforms purchase components online from sites such as Newegg (US), NCIX (Canada), and Mindfactory (Germany). Where are you based?

For overclocking, you'll need a reliable power supply, a motherboard that supports overclocking with good power phases, and a CPU featuring an unlocked multiplier (like Intel CPUs ending in "K").

Additionally, consider investing in a superior CPU cooler, as increased heat generation will occur during overclocking. For the GPU, opt for one with a decent cooling solution if you plan to push it to higher settings.
