I'm trying to understand why 6400mhz SODIMM RAM isn't available yet. You can find it in soldered builds like the Thinkbook 16p Gen3, but there seems to be no current plans to release it in SODIMM form. It might just be that it hasn't been manufactured or isn't in demand right now.

The SODIMM design has some constraints when it comes to DDR5. To achieve the quickest RAM speeds in a laptop, you’re usually forced to solder it in or rely on the CAMM standard, which is currently available only on a few Dell models.
