Where does this issue originate?
Recently, while engaged in PC building Simulator, my computer began shutting down and restarting unexpectedly. I examined the temperature readings: the motherboard reached 49°C, the video card peaked at 54°C, and the CPU remained at 49°C. My system configuration includes: a motherboard – MSI Z370 Gaming Pro Carbon AC; a processor – Intel i7 8700k; memory – Corsair Vengeance RGB DDR4 16GB; a graphics card – EVGA GeForce RTX 2080 TI 11GB; and an M.2 SSD – 512GB Samsung EVO 970.
A possibility is that the problem stems from a component related to electrical power.
Despite not including details about your power supply unit in the specifications, how can we determine that information?
This power supply appears to be adequate, so it’s unlikely to be the cause. Disconnect all components except for the central processing unit, one stick of memory, and the primary drive; connect your monitor directly to the motherboard. Operate as you usually would, but with reduced activity levels.
