Connect your AIO pump to the header using the wire from the block. Attach the fans via the CPU fan header. Full control happens at the fan side, not the pump side. Pumps usually run at a constant speed to maintain water flow through the system, with fans adjusting based on temperature changes.

You want the pump to operate at full capacity. This allows the software to manage the complete power spectrum as required. If you connect the pump to the CPU fan header using standard settings, and let the BIOS handle it according to temperature readings, the supplied power will fluctuate with thermal conditions. Your software won’t be able to regulate the pump precisely. Conversely, an AIO/PUMP header is designed for 100% output by default, giving the software full control over power levels. If your motherboard lacks an AIO pump header, you can use the CPU header to supply power, setting it to 100%. Then locate another header (unless a USB hub is used) to manage the fans, which will adjust based on temperature. Concerning fan power, certain AIOs such as Corsair operate without needing any CPU fan headers at all; they rely on a USB hub for control, similar to the Commander Core. Others still depend on motherboard fan headers. Choose the method that suits you best, and ensure proper configuration.

The term 'AIO' doesn't apply here. Your system includes a pump, and you connect it to the pump header via the pump itself.
