I saw a Reddit post with instructions, but the messages were taken away and it's locked up. Also, the Wayback Machine won't save anything here. Does anyone know how to get this back? This new Discord look is really bad. Or if you know some extension or script that can at least make it look like it used to be before, that would be super cool.

Probably the Reddit post was fake or had bad links with viruses. Many sites shut down posts like this one right away. Where did you get a Discord app? I found some fake ones by just typing "discord" wrong. I don't know if Discord changed their look to go back to how it used to be, but here is the link for the real Discord: https://discord.com/brand-new First, make sure you have the actual Discord installed. After that, I'll wait for other people's advice and comments.

I just use the online version of Discord since I don't need the software on my computer.

I can get links for Android, but they're all just different versions of the same Discord app, not something specific. Do you want to login from your phone or via a web page? I usually use the app on my computer, so that's what I prefer.

I can download an older version of the Android app, but I'm wondering if it works when running on a computer instead.

I do not think it is possible. I believe the site looks this way because of how it is set up today, and I doubt there is any trick to make it look different unless someone pays for a Nitro upgrade or uses an old-fashioned theme.
