Where are all the great games now? The ones you liked the most.
Where are all the great games now? The ones you liked the most.
Here are the games that have taken away many fun hours from my time. I often come back to them every few years. Super Mario Brothers Zelda 2: The Adventure of Link Doom & Doom 2 Sim City 2000 Star Wars Tie Fighter Need for Speed 3: Hot Pursuit No One Lives Forever Chrono Trigger Half-Life Half-Life 2 Fallout 3 Age of Empires 2 HD (I still play it often) Fallout 4 Factorio (My latest obsession)
Where great experiences have moved? From PCs to consoles! You'll find fresh and exciting titles now. Like Octopath Traveller, Mario Odyssey, and the open-world style Playtation games such as Spider-Man, Dad of Boy, and Horizon Zero Dawn (which I actually played twice).
I played a wide variety of games (no specific sequence): Hanse - Die Expedition Swing (by Software 2000), Little Fighter 2, Civilization 3 / 4 Anno 1602, AoE 2, Warcraft 3, Sim City 4, The Settlers 3, Pharao, Super Mario World (with SNES emulator), Yoshi's Island (with SNES emulator), Zelda: A Link to the Past (with SNES emulator), WoW (in progress), Metin 2, Minecraft, and mostly older titles.
Final Fantasy 3 and F-Zero remain favorites among my collection. There are still many great titles released recently. 2018 was a solid year for gaming.
I think the publishers are exploiting well-known franchises like Call of Duty, Battlefield and Assassin's Creed. They should concentrate on creating fresh games and series instead. Still, I have several favorite titles, including Ratchet and Clank: Gladiators, Skyrim, Kotor 2 and Battlefield 3.
I really enjoyed LF2. I played it often with friends in college, even though getting it to work over Ethernet was a hassle most of the time. Check out Castle Crushers.
Absolutely, there are now countless titles across various categories. Right now I’m really into Forza Horizon 4, Hollow Knight, Enter the Gungeon, and Monster Hunter World.
