A solid game just needs to be fun, unlike the ones from the last ten years that you can finish in half a day and lose interest for a second play... I’d like to recommend an awesome title from my childhood (around 1999). Little Fighter 2 / lf2.net wasn’t super popular, but it was a free game from CUHK (The Chinese University of Hong Kong). Lots of people made modifications to it. Since the last edit on February 21, 2019 by dgsddfgdfhgs, the link is still working! It’s free and open source.

It seems you have a strong preference for quality games. I usually discover many excellent options.

I really enjoyed Need for Speed Most Wanted 2005 as a child, though I never managed to beat it. A year ago I revisited it and managed to blacklist three games until my PC crashed and lost my save. I also played a NES game called Gun Smoke, which was a 2D shooter where levels looped infinitely. You earned money for each kill, and with enough funds you could upgrade weapons or advance to the next stage, which would then loop again until you had enough to reach the next one. I still haven’t finished it, and I don’t know how many levels exist.

I have a list of my top PC game choices. I'm quite specific about it. Here are some of them: 1. Jade Empire Special Edition 2. The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion 3. Chrono Trigger 4. Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare 5. Battlefield 3, 4, V (just multiplayer!) 6. This War of Mine 7. Tomb Raider (2013) 8. Portal 9. Fallout 3 X. TES V: Skyrim These are the newer titles, but I've played for over 25 years.

Sure, that's a hidden feature from Android. Anyone have actually played this game? Link keeps working fine.

I added Jazz the Jackrabbit and Lemmings to my childhood collection of games. I spent countless hours enjoying them!

I miss the passion I once felt for Call of Duty Black Ops 1 & 2. I enjoyed playing multiplayer for months without getting bored. Now I spend just a few weeks online and then stop. Another title that brings back memories is Need for Speed Underground 1; I think EA hasn’t matched its quality since then. Fortunately, singleplayer story games still appeal to me, and I still enjoy titles like Skyrim and Dark Souls 3 regularly. There’s always something to keep me engaged.

Still here... Metro Exodus remains one of the top shooters I've experienced in years.

In my opinion, there are significantly more enjoyable games available now than ever before. Having played PC gaming since around 1993, I remember how important it was to revisit favorites when options were limited. Now, with so many high-quality titles, it can feel like you're overlooking great experiences if you stick to just a few.
