When setting up Windows 10, BSoDs can occur during installation.
I've encountered issues with my custom build repeatedly. Initially, it functioned for about two months before encountering the bsod irql_not_less_or_equal error. After that, the system would restart and display the same BSOD. I decided to erase my hard drives and reinstall Windows, which worked for roughly three months. However, after that, it would return to the same BSOD (irql_not_less_or_equal) upon restart, then restart again. During the Windows installation, it would halt around 50% and present the error. Occasionally it shows irql_not_less_or_equal, other times it triggers a 0xc000021a error with a system service exception, and the failure log mentions Wimfsf.sys. Despite trying various fixes—switching drives, cleaning via BIOS, removing RAM sticks, replacing the GPU—I consistently faced the same problems. Any advice would be invaluable.
I adjusted them to the standard settings, yet the issues persist.
