Notice that processors outside the K series, such as an i7 2600, cannot be overclocked. To achieve higher speeds, ensure you purchase a 3770k model.

It should function properly. However, clearing the CMOS (whether via pins or battery) might resolve the issue. Make sure your BIOS is updated to a version that supports the 3770. You need at least BIOS version 2302 for compatibility. If your system lacks sufficient BIOS updates, switch to the 2600k to refresh it.
