Running MSI z270 SLI PLUS with an i7 7700k stock processor at 4.2-4.5 Ghz, it maintains stable performance at 1.195v in override mode, but drops to 1.23-1.26v in auto mode. I need a configuration that keeps the CPU voltage below 1.205v when idle, while still scaling down in adaptive mode. Please let me know if anyone has any suggestions—I’ve been struggling to solve this on my own and would really appreciate your help.

Removed the MSI utilities package, but it seems some were installed already. Adjust the voltage settings directly in the BIOS.

I uninstalled the MSI utilities, though it seems some were installed. I manually adjusted the voltage in the BIOS. I only have the MSI live update utility, and all my attempts were via BIOS. I understand how to override but it keeps setting 1.195v. I wondered if adaptive/offset settings might help, but I’m not sure. Maybe there’s a BIOS option to bypass these changes. It’s really frustrating.
