I'm facing a small problem with my new build. When I power on just the PSU and only the front three fans light up once, everything works fine afterward. I've tried resetting the fans, changing the RGB port, and using different fan configurations. My build has a 4080 Super with three PCI-E connections, but my Corsair 850e only offers four ports—two for CPU and two for GPU. I connected the last PCI-E to a daisy chain, but the GPU still won't turn on. Using just two PCI-E ports stopped it completely. The RGB lighting is in the top-right header, but both ports blink. I'm concerned this might be a hardware issue or a power delivery problem.

My estimate is that the BIOS needs them active when the PSU powers up, and it may take a while to load your settings. You might stop this by using an RGB hub, though it’s probably not feasible because of the daisy chaining issue. As long as the connecting cables stay cool, it should be fine. (The PSU sends 5V signals right away once powered on, providing power to the motherboard and peripherals.)

Hey HanZie82, I see, but then shouldn't every fan do this? Oh wait, my corsair fans have their own hub. To confirm your theory, I'll try taking one LL120 off the hub and connect it to the motherboard. So far, all I've read is psu is faulty or what you said. Also, what do you think about using 12VHPWR Cable |600W PCle 5.0 Power Adapter Cable for the gpu? My psu came with one of these but it doesn't say 600w so IDK if they are the same thing
