When do computers appear in the "Devices" section of your Microsoft Account?
So there's this one computer where I logged on as Administrator and I thought this would make it show up, but it didn't. I tried to add a different administrator account but it didn't show up there either.
So I reinstalled Windows 10 but it still doesn't show up.
I know it CAN show up, because I'm 100% sure it was there a long time ago.
What do you think happened?
Thanks.
Which web address are you trying to reach for the referenced MS Account?
It even displayed a new computer I just assembled quite quickly.
The only possibility is that the machine might be running Windows 10 and possibly was forgotten for some time before being removed from support. There are other machines with Windows 10, but they were used more frequently recently.
Could this be the one?

Here’s how the process has unfolded for me:
I maintain a desktop shortcut named "Microsoft Account Login" on my computer's desktop.
The destination link is account.microsoft.com.
I just click the icon and input the email address used for my "MS Account."
A one-time six-digit security code is sent to my mobile phone.
(No password was asked for recently, though I still keep a handy one.)
I type the received code into the fields on the Microsoft login screen displayed on the desktop.
Once all six digits are correct, Microsoft displays the MS Account screen with various options.
One option is "Devices," showing the computers linked to my account with their details.
Other options cover additional account settings and features.
Since I share Microsoft 365 with family members, I often access my account more frequently than usual.
Still, it’s wise to perform regular checks to stay updated on the login process and available information.
Sorry. That's what I did. Log in using a Microsoft account (.outlook.com, .live.com) with Administrator privileges.
It didn't appear for the email accounts either. However, other devices do. I'm 99% sure this machine (with its serial number) was detected some time back.
