Sorry for the delayed response. All configurations have been reset. There is no XMP memory profile available, so avoid making any changes to memory settings since the clock is initially set to 1600 MHz. Proceed to the Advanced frequency settings and adjust the CPU clock ratio to 35—this will raise the clock from the auto value to 8, then to 35, achieving a speed of 3.5 GHz. After booting the system and running stress tests with prime95 for 20 to 30 minutes, ensure all cores maintain full performance. If they do, the test passes and you should see no errors or warnings in prime95. Restart the machine, then increase the CPU ratio to 36, which will yield 3.6 GHz. Repeat the stress test in OS. Be cautious if any core drops below 100% usage; this indicates a failure. Stop the test, review for errors or warnings, restart, adjust voltage settings to 0.006V (the minimum possible), and perform another stress test. Monitor the thermal margin closely—if temperatures rise excessively or approach zero, halt overclocking and allow cooling. Once stability is confirmed, you will achieve the processor’s maximum sustainable speed. This should resolve your concerns.

My suggested method for overclocking involves resetting the CPU to its standard speed if it isn’t already. First, raise the MHz value by 0.5 MHz and keep increasing until issues appear (such as crashes or freezes). Once stable, reduce the MHz by 0.5 MHz until problems return. After reaching the correct setting, fine-tune the value as needed. Remember these numbers are fixed—do not adjust them yourself! Also, perform a stress test after making any changes to ensure stability.

Ha, well I can help here. I found out that if your igpu is on any kind of decent load the cpu will just instant throttle. Had this issue a while ago but you need to edit the pstates.
http://imgur.com/MURMKAO
As you can see, the cpu drops like a corpse from the before and after shots. No overheating issues were even present. I was always wondering why the cpu temps goes down when I put a load on the igpu :/.
So I used a program called AmdMsrTweaker.
It sets the pstate "p5" to 42ghz at 1.3v then set the pstate to p5 (You lucky bastered some how got 4.7ghz at 1.3v) and it also sets p6 (If your cpu temps goes too high it throttles to this speed, please do not set this to the same overclock. Unless you want your computer to die of cooking it self)
here it is:
PAUSE
C:\Users\Josh\Documents\x64\AMDMsrTweaker.exe [email protected]
C:\Users\Josh\Documents\x64\AMDMsrTweaker.exe p5
C:\Users\Josh\Documents\x64\AMDMsrTweaker.exe [email protected]
PAUSE
The program location may be different from yours (unless your actual name is josh and you put it in your documents). Put the bat in the startup folder and it should run every time. Take out the "pause"(s) if you don't like a black box every time you boot.
WARNING WILL TOTALY OVERRIDE ANY BOIS CPU CLOCK AND CPU VOLTAGE SETTING. Sorry any Linux users out there, I don't know if this is going to work for you.

Sorry for the delayed reply. I'm currently using a new configuration with an A6-7400K.
Asus A88XM-A setup includes 2x4GB RAM and a stock cooler with aftermarket cool master paste (got out of there).
Right now I'm stable at around 4.2Ghz, with temperatures between 42-58°C. The maximum might be up to 82°C, but I'm not sure.
I plan to push the limits using the stock cooler.
I really want a 7.1-7.4 Windows score for these combos to beat 3258 and be comparable to the 7700K or around 7850K.
The cache behavior won't be the same, but I'll see how it performs.
I moved from 6.3-6.9.
(Windows scores are terrible, but they help me decide what GPU needs to run BF4 smoothly with good FPS over 7.1+ CPU score)

i got it to 4.6Ghz on That board. I think its the max though. my temps were fine but couldn't go any higher than .036 add volt. .0325 gets you 4.6Ghz
So Asus 88XM-A can't go no more than 4.6Ghz.
You can make it to 4.6 on stock cooler!
but i put my monster cooler and I couldn't get any higher.

Jason Valerio shared his experience achieving 4.6Ghz on that board, noting it's likely the maximum possible. He mentioned his temperatures stayed within limits but couldn't exceed 0.036 add volt, with 0.0325 giving 4.6Ghz. He also confirmed the Asus 88XM-A can't exceed 4.6Ghz and that using a stock cooler could help reach the target, though he couldn't get higher even with his own cooler. He expressed satisfaction with the result.

Just the main concern is my Windows score dropping from 6.6 to 6.9. (It won<|pad|>, it won’t return to 6.9 again).
At 4.6 Ghz
Battlefield 4 on 4 is really bad, but League of Legends is fine.
I tried three different graphics cards and the results are the same.
It passes all the overclock tests and runs smoothly.
Anyone know if there are big problems with Battlefield 4 on a 6-7400k+ graphics card?
I get 30-35fps, but it drops like a rock and sometimes freezes for a second.
This is just my AMD processor that I’ve ever used to run BF4, and it’s terrible.
The processors I’ve tested are:
FX4130
FX4300
FX6300
FX8310
FX8320
FX8320E
FX8350
FX8370E
A8-6600K
A6-7400K (the only one that seems to handle BF4 steadily, I’d prefer it to stay at 30fps, but the drops are awful)
A8-3800K
A10-7700K
A10-7850K
I also just replaced the graphics card and ran the passmark, getting a 2911 CPU score! That’s good, but Windows says 6.6.
But League runs pretty well with GPU.
So I’m planning to test the CPU using a passmark with a graphics card.
