Hello, your Intel CPU cooler fan becomes very loud around 80% CPU usage, especially after switching the motherboard. You adjusted the fan curve in BIOS and tried increasing both step-up and step-down times to 3.6 seconds, but it didn’t stop the fan from revving up. Could you check if the fan settings are correctly applied or if there’s another issue affecting cooling?

Usually means adjusting the fan curve. Could lack sufficient cooling, especially at 80%.

Could you share your ideas for the desired appearance? The current version seems to be as it is.

The graph indicates the setup was intended for maximum 70% capacity, yet it exceeds that limit. Additional stronger cooling might be required.

I already have four case fans; improving cooling is just about getting an aftermarket CPU cooler. It’s odd how this became necessary only after replacing the motherboard, something that didn’t happen before with the previous model.

It might be due to the newer motherboard having hotter running components or a different probe arrangement. I thought the CPU fan was the issue, but it could actually be a case fan curve problem. Probes remain in place on both the motherboard and CPU. You could adjust the fan curve to check if temperatures stabilize before they reach your listening range. (Typically you drag points on the graph, though different interfaces may respond differently). Fans usually run at 70% speed with 70% power. A flat fan curve from corner to corner helps estimate temperature by noise level. Slowing fans reduces cooling, so you might end up needing more airflow. (Again assuming this relates to the CPU fan and probes are correctly positioned)

I'll check the fan curve details and see what options are available online for your motherboard.

I examined it closely and noticed my CPU temperatures were elevated and inconsistent during gameplay. It’s possible the poor quality thermal paste contributed to the issue.
