Sure? The problem remains with the single stick design, and it's also extremely slow.
One solid choice, one weak choice. X3D chip, okay. Only single RAM sticks, always. Just grab the 5700x3d and live. I don’t know why you’d say no, even though you don’t understand upgrades. If you’re after an AM5, go for it. If you need strong performance without spending a fortune, save up for a real AM5 system that will eventually outdo yours. But don’t compare the 5700x3d to DDR5—pick one or the other. Personally, I use a 5600x3d rig that works just fine before I made changes; now I’ve moved to a 7800x3d because the power savings are real. The X3D cache is amazing for low-end tasks and boosts overall game speed. Reducing CPU performance is the best move you can make. If you really want AM5, do it properly.
Thank you for your insightful advice. I’ll stick with the last AM4 option and aim for 5700X3D. I’ll keep playing until things stabilize, and AM5 could come back to me again.
