While attempting to stream on Discord, the PC slows down and becomes unresponsive. I've tried various troubleshooting methods without success. Recently, I upgraded from an RX 6600 XT to an RTX 4070, and with the RX 6600 XT I never experienced this problem. Everything functions properly—I can stream with OBS and perform all tasks, but Discord streaming remains an issue. I suspect my PSU might be faulty, possibly a Gigabyte P750GM 750W 80+ Gold unit. My current PC specs are listed here: https://pcpartpicker.com/user/BassOnWeb/...iew=8ZNLyc. I didn’t anticipate such difficulties, and I’ve reinstalled Windows multiple times, though I haven’t tried Windows 10 yet. If you have any insights, I’m at my limit.
I checked your PC part picker and, in reality, streaming should be possible. You’ll need to push the CPU to its maximum during each frame for both gaming and streaming, especially considering game requirements. Temperature might be an issue, but it’s unlikely with an 8-core processor. I also remember Discord offers a setting to use the hardware encoder and set it to GPU. A 750W power supply should be adequate, though this depends on the unit being new and not worn out.
