Earlier, after an update in the Gigabyte Bios, I faced various issues. I experienced coil whine on my 1080 and it didn’t function properly. Luckily, I resolved those problems, but now I have a lingering concern. I’m unable to push my CPU beyond the limits set by the 'AUTO' voltage. The problem lies in the CPU automatically downclocking to around 1.2 GHz or lower, even when the voltage isn’t adjusted. I tried increasing the voltage at various levels, but without using AUTO, it wouldn’t reach the desired speed.
CPU: AMD RYZEN 5 1600
MB: Gigabyte AB350-Gaming 3-CF
GPU: NVIDIA Geforce GTX 1080 (Gigabyte)
I was hoping someone could help me understand what’s going on and offer advice.
