If a service like PSN arrived on PC offering all exclusive games such as "God of War, Infamous" and others, would you still own your console? I’m curious about this because Xbox Live is moving to PC, which could let you download titles like "Sunset Overdrive." Some fans are worried it might be free, just like with Xbot, while others aren’t too concerned. Personally, I don’t care about console superiority or sales numbers—what matters is having the device I own. This feels like a great opportunity for Sony to earn more by using their platform (free), but I see a petition already gathering support for making "Bloodborne" available on PC. The developer even tweeted that it’s still a PS4 exclusive. I’m getting frustrated because everything now seems buggy on my console, and I feel like playing on PC is causing the same issues. I’m also annoyed by paying for access when I’m not using their servers to play games like "Destiny." I really hope "Destiny" makes it to PC so I can keep my progress. I have no ownership of any gaming systems and don’t have interest in Xbox or PS3/PS4 titles.
I don’t have a console, so I’d keep it that way. Picture the Uncharted series running smoothly on Windows—playing at higher resolutions and frame rates with a mouse and keyboard. Excited about the possibility of recreating the experience and overcoming this exclusive limitation. Thanks for caring about PC!
Never, that's considered disrespectful! If the titles needed a controller, I'd say no. But if they're well-supported, maybe yes. I'm not keen on many exclusive games.
Unless you're purchasing consoles just for the exclusive titles, the impact would likely be minimal. If you owned one, I'd keep it for social reasons and for specific "couch games." For local play, even single-player options, a console offers a significant advantage. Plus, I'd rather avoid sharing my computer due to concerns about security.
Exclusive are every where beside console, Browsers have exclusive add-on, PC gaming got exclusive games that console don't have, Play Store and Apple App Store got exclusive apps. Exclusive makes your platform sell if you didn't had exclusive it make no reason to buy that platform. Everyone just have PC and be done with it. Plus Microsoft and Sony spending there own money make a game develop for them you can get mad at them unless it a Multiplat sequel turn into a exclusive.
