Hey, I'm totally new to overclocking so I decided after a while to try it on my 5960x. Even though it's an older CPU, I want to get the most out of it for now. I enabled XMP profile on my G.Skills RAM to push it to 2800mhz instead of stock speed, which changed the BLCK Frequency to 127.3 and set all cores to a modest 33ghz according to BIOS settings. Sometimes my 64gb of ram seems to drop or go down to about 48gb for no good reason that I can find online advice says turning up DRAM voltage sometimes helps, so I did but it's a bit flaky (putting it up to 1.3v). I left everything else at Auto mode. I took some screenshots of my BIOS and my computer in windows while it was sleeping and just using the CPUID stress test and it seems like temperatures are high even when idle, this is with AIO on Extreme (it can't get any higher or louder than it already is) sorry for long winded thread anyone help would be appreciated. Thanks! Haswell-E 5960x Asus X99-WS G.Skills 64gb DDR4 2800mhz with xmp Corsair H110GT 280mm AIO Corsair 750d Case
