It looks like I’m the only one here who actually likes Windows 8/8.1. Everyone keeps saying Windows 8 is terrible and Windows 7 is much better. I really enjoy Windows 7—it’s stable and dependable. I usually avoid the start screen and stick to the desktop, which makes it less annoying. I haven’t heard a clear list of what people dislike about Windows 8 yet, so let’s begin a conversation in the comments about its advantages and disadvantages.

Personally, I think it's clear that 8.1 stands out. Or maybe just following the trend—either way I keep my confidence in that number.
