What's wrong with my headphone jack?
Hi I have PC Specs: CPU: intel Core i7 9700KF @3.6GHZ PSU: 550w GPU: MSI Nvidia RTX 3060 12GB Ram: 32GB CPU Cooler: Cooler Master 120mm Liquid Cooler Storage: 500GB M.2 SSD/2TB HDD / 1TB HDD Motherboard: Mag Mortar B365M And my problem is everything time I connect my headphones to the pc there’s crackling front and back of pc headphone jack constant crackling no other sound even when I try and play something I’ve checked multiple headphones and it’s not that it’s the pc any help would be appreciated I’ve tried everything for 6 months now
It could happen that something went wrong with the motherboard inside your computer. My board might be a different brand but basically looks just like this one and you can plug your audio devices into a USB port instead of the original connection points.
I'm gonna try fixing this, you are spot on with saying the motherboard is the cause. When I bought the computer it started working fine but today I had no sound and now it's stuck in there.
