My setup includes an i7-2600i, a 1070 paired with a 1600MHz DDR3 RAM (16GB total). I use a 32-inch 1080p display at 75Hz. Regardless of resolution, I consistently hit around 65 FPS, sometimes reaching over 75 only when stationary in-game. It seems my CPU or GPU isn't limiting performance since they're not exceeding 50% usage. When playing titles like GTA V or Apex Legends at medium to high settings, I manage to exceed 70 FPS.

It’s simply not a well-optimized game. To play reliably and at high frame rates in Ark, you need to go beyond the system’s capabilities. It’s extremely demanding on the GPU and won’t let you use any available hardware fully.

I have a 3090 and a 3900X and ARK doesn't always run well, it's a really terribly optimized game and not a good benchmark at all. I just ran a test and here's the brilliant results on maximum everything. 44 solid frames per second, brilliant. Edited July 31, 2022 by Zalosath ran a test

It might be useful to upgrade your CPU, like switching to an i3 12100f. If not, you can still run everything fine with what you currently have.

It won't probably fail since it's not CPU-heavy, just GPU-dependent. Ark will adjust to any frame rate and you'll need to accept it.
