Windows uninstallation? /s CDPUserSvc is a tool for your linked devices and OneSyncSvc handles reminders, clocks, and similar functions tied to your Windows account. WpnUserService manages push notifications. These services are essential for Windows to operate correctly. If you need details about any of them or want to disable them, you can search online for more information.

Thank you for the response. It's becoming bothersome because I haven't encountered such an issue before, where it consumes a lot of memory.

Microsoft gradually consumes additional memory over time. Newer Windows updates place greater demands on older systems.

Thread redirected to Windows sub-forum area — unusual situation. CDPUserSvc is connected device platform user service. It can be halted but not turned off. This service integrates various connected technologies: Bluetooth gadgets, scanners, printers, webcams, external drives. If the issue lies with this service in your setup, identify which devices are causing trouble. A restart may be necessary each time you disconnect something. OneSync handles synchronization of Mail, Calendar, Contacts, Notes, etc. I’m uncertain if OneDrive relies on it or if Office and just Mail/Calendar are involved. WpnUserService manages push notifications for Windows. It cannot be disabled but can be stopped. Push notifications let apps notify your system directly instead of repeatedly contacting services. This improves performance by lowering network load and CPU usage. Based on what I see, the most likely culprit is WpnUserService. Why? Likely an app is constantly sending push notifications in a loop, filling the service with data. Another possibility is a web browser registering too many sites for alerts. Check your browser settings to adjust notification preferences. A restart might resolve the issue. I don’t have any known tools or third-party solutions to handle the registered notifications.

Ensure a Windows Push Notifications service is active as SYSTEM in another svchost process. Locate it and assess its memory consumption to identify potential causes.
