Hi everyone. The difference lies in the chipset and CPU compatibility. The first model uses GA2, which is compatible with Intel Z690/Z790 and newer CPUs, but not with the Asus ROG STRIX X670E-A. The second model has GX2, which supports more recent Intel processors and works with the specified motherboard and Ryzen.

AMD Expo and Intel XMP profiles are both available. You can connect the same motherboard but use the built-in XMP profile; however, AMD doesn’t support memory overclocking. This option is pricier since AMD sales are currently higher than Intel’s.

It's likely just a minor PCB tweak. I wouldn't stress too much and opt for the more affordable option. It should function with Ryzen processors. The distinction here is between EXPO and XMP—XMP means "Intel optimized," while EXPO stands for "AMD optimized." In real life, either works on both platforms, though XMP faced some problems in early AM5 BIOS versions (which were already dealing with other issues beyond just XMP support). Those older BIOS updates should be patched before serious use.

Consider whether a pricier option is worth it to prevent discomfort.

Both kits are built on XMP technology, so you won’t miss any issues along the way.

Searching Amazon or whatalever shop for White G Skill RGB compatible with your X670E A ROG Strix. Feeling a bit lost, but I’ll help you find the right option. Make sure to check the specs and ensure it meets your 30 or 32 MHz+ requirements. Good luck!

One of the items from your initial message could be used. XMP remains functional on AMD systems provided you have the latest BIOS, which you should update for other reasons (older ASUS BIOS versions sometimes caused CPU issues when XMP/EXPO was enabled). All the white G.Skill memory is XMP-compatible, so if you prefer EXPO (though it's not a major concern), you can skip this and opt for a different brand or a black kit. Another XMP solution won't improve performance over your chosen ones.

I can't use black mode, it doesn't fit the theme. If I change my BIOS, will the parts I linked support the 6000 series?

They should all perform similarly at 6000 CL30/32. The CL30 and 32 kits will look almost the same, so choose the more affordable option.
