Which model are you considering for the Lenovo laptop?
The Asus option isn’t impressive given its only 8GB RAM included.
If you're short on time, I'm not either. Just look up reviews from a notebook review site.
I recently acquired a Lenovo T16 G2 as a replacement for an older, dependable ThinkPad that had served me well for over five years. This particular model is not meant to be upgraded; I'm composing this review about the previous ThinkPad because, seven weeks after purchase, I encountered significant problems with the screen and mousepad. Around six weeks into its service life, the display began to pixelate in the lower 25-30% area, making it impossible for me to view the toolbar at the bottom. Since it was dark, I was attempting to launch applications. Almost a week later, a technician replaced the screen, which appeared to resolve the issue—though I have no idea how it happened initially. Two days afterward, the mousepad malfunctioned completely. While on the phone with support, they suggested using a web browser for remote help, but the issue persisted as the mousepad was unresponsive. I couldn't navigate or open any programs. Unfortunately, without the premium service package, I waited from Thursday morning until Monday afternoon for an appointment that was ultimately cancelled and rescheduled later in the week without any prior notice. It's regrettable that older Lenovo models were known for their quality, yet they failed to impress me. Take heed from my experience and avoid similar frustrations.
