Consider setting up a fresh installation by creating a bootable USB, formatting it with Windows 10, and then reinstalling from scratch. This will erase everything and give you a clean start.

Connect your Windows activation code to your Microsoft profile. Transfer the W10 ISO onto a USB drive, then set up Windows on your new SSD.

Connect your Microsoft account for proper access. Manual input of keys may vary.

The issue arises when connecting your key to your Microsoft account, installing Windows on a new drive, and signing in with the existing account—old items linked to your Microsoft account reappear, which you don’t want.

You can input the CD key while installing. If you lack it, you may connect the key to your Microsoft account or employ a tool to extract the key from the registry for later use during installation.

Adjust the options so backups are disabled and settings remain local. You're also free to reinstall and use the traditional method if needed.
