Hi
I'm not sure about the exact name for these. Could someone help clarify?
Do you know anyone who has experience reattaching these washer-like screws into the holes on the underside of a laptop case or screen? I'm having trouble getting the LCD back in place securely, and these have come out. I need a glue that works well. I saw some poxy resin Gorilla glue on Amazon, but it might need a small, thin applicator near the rim. I don't want the glue to harden and block my ability to screw anything back in.
Any advice would be really appreciated. Thanks.

I haven't had any success at all. I bought this from Amazon:
https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B0DLG86BVL?r...b_ap_share
But they keep breaking out or loosening after being set. Just trying to tighten the screws. 🙁

Scoop both the plastic area and the component being epoxied, then wipe it down using rubbing alcohol before.

I suspect I'm still not going to have any luck with it.
I tried sanding and cleaning the area once before, but the screws are an absolute pain to screw into those washer-type things afterwards, especially if there's any resin down the middle of it. It's very hard to add it just around the insides and even then it may not be enough. As soon as the screw is screwed into it, it either gets stuck and rotates around and around on the spot without actually tightening, or it causes the washer-thing to break loose from the resin.
The only other alternative is to get a replacement bottom chassis, but I don't think I can get one for this exact model. And I'm not sure if any for the Clevo W650 would work.

It's easily identifiable as ABS plastic, so you can apply ABS plastic cement to soften it and press it into the nuter without needing glue (as the "cement" mainly acts as a solvent). You might craft your own ABS adhesive by mixing acetone with shavings from black ABS plastic pipes available at hardware stores, providing extra material if needed. Adding more around the post strengthens the bond. ABS alone tends to be brittle unless enhanced with glass fillings or reinforced fibers; higher-quality options often use glass-filled polycarbonate or nylon.

I'm worried this might be beyond my area of knowledge.
I've never handled anything similar before.
I think I might be seeing an error because the text doesn't clearly show the word ABS.

It is located at the bottom left of your image, labeled >ABS<.
Also referred to as acrylonitrile butadiene styrene.

Anyway, here's a before and after of cleaning up the posts/area:

I tried to do them as best I could with sandpaper and cleaning alcohol. I've also tried to apply the resin as thoroughly as I could, making sure to fill in cracks etc. We'll see if things go smoothly this time...
