Discover plenty in classic titles such as Elder Scrolls Online. Frequently refreshed and the questing content is impressive. Still, I’m confident you can navigate Steam’s store just as well, have fun!

Think of it like a fresh start for your gaming setup—some indie cleaners or classic picks are available on Game Pass.

I've really enjoyed many of the Sony ports lately. Right now I'm playing GoW Ragnarok on Steam and it's performing well. It runs smoothly. I have a 4090 chip, but I was trying DLSS 4.5 balanced without FG settings and it worked great on my 240Hz monitor. It stayed consistently over 200-220fps with only minor drops during intense scenes, dropping to around 175 during heavy combat. I still usually play on the LG C1 with a fixed 118fps because HDR looks better there (especially with the LG C6 this year).

I recently explored the Remedyverse titles (excluding Max Payne) and they’re definitely worth your time. I haven’t tried the DLC for Alan Wake 2 yet, but I’m planning to once I finish Horizon: Forbidden West. By Remedyverse, these games share a universe: Alan Wake plus American Nightmare, Quantum Break Control, and Control. Resonant is coming soon—highly recommended for fans of bizarre horror, sci-fi, and shows like The Twilight Zone or The X-Files. The soundtrack is also incredible.

This one worked well. I went through it twice (new game+) before I lost interest.

Are you asking about games that look nice versus those that actually work well? Often they don't match. Usually, a flashy game doesn't mean good gameplay. Stunning visuals can't fix weak writing, boring tasks, repetitive quests, or broken systems.

Uncertain if these count as AAA titles, but I always enjoy the Persona series. Persona 3 Reload and Persona 5 Royal are by far the top two games I've played. The upcoming Persona 4 remake is also likely to be excellent. You often find discounts on Steam, and a coworker bought Persona 5 Royal for under $20. Given the 130 hours you expect to get, it's a great deal and offers plenty of replay value. If you prefer something less anime-style, Metaphor ReFantazio is worth checking out—it's fantasy-based and has a more RPG feel. I need to try it myself.
