If you dislike the basic version, we can exclude the Asian MMOs, though that’s where the best content lies.

I don’t dislike it, though in Tera it feels a bit too casual... if you’ve seen Archeage, I can manage that kind of relaxed style.

Among all the Asian MMOs I've tried, Archage stands out as quite gentle. The others are either at Tera level or higher. GW2 is the only one left on my list, unless you prefer not to play fast-paced battles since you didn't enjoy Tera's style.

Yeah, that's accurate. I still have GW2, but haven't really played it much. I was focusing on other games back then, and I plan to try it again once everyone has finished downloading.

imo eso is pretty shitty, nowhere near as good as previous TES games. (Played it a few days ago for the welcome back weekend, decided that its still too quest-reliant for progress, combat is crap, hate the damn auto aim shit for magic and archery, animations are meh, sneaking is bad, lockpicking is eh, graphics suck balls.)

It's a monthly paid online game, but it's structured as a subscription service.

would enjoy playing Archeage, though the experience differs between alpha and full release. I appreciated the open-world feel and the ability to compete in PVP against players from either faction, plus the ship battles were a highlight.
