I just installed it about 30 minutes ago and I need to say something really bad. Right now it’s running in windowed mode all the time, and every time I press ALT ENTER it crashes again. I think it’s using way too much RAM—currently around 3.5 GB. The 3D effects are freezing completely. This is the most frequent issue I’ve seen, and it happens to everyone. It stutters so much you can’t even drive straight. Also, the frame rate drops drastically; on medium settings I’m getting only about 50 frames per second at 900p, and it falls to around 20fps. If this is how it’s going to be, they should have kept it for consoles only. Why not? You get much better performance on a 360.

I became confused at "i have to tell you, i have not seen a port this bad since AC unity." Your laptop with a GT610M can run this game, so your issue isn't about performance problems. Fix the system and provide actual information instead of fictional complaints.

It seems like your CPU is trying to connect with something.

The FX-6300 in your message isn't ideal for GTA V anymore, especially since I3s are improving performance. Its CPU is becoming outdated, and it wasn't always the strongest processor. You might want to consider switching to something more modern.

You're progressing well, no issues so far. You're around the 4 to 5 hour mark in the story.

It's interesting both of your Titan X and 765m machines support it well. This is definitely one of the top ports we've encountered... it seems like you're either aiming for 4K with your 270 (which has 2GB) or simply expecting maximum performance from that card.

The port works well for me and most buyers I've heard about. The only problem you pointed out is stuttering, which isn’t as severe as you described. It’s frustrating when someone blames a game for performance issues on their hardware. If your old Dell couldn’t run Crysis 3 smoothly, it doesn’t necessarily mean the port is bad.

It's true, I experience higher FPS in Crysis 3 on medium settings compared to GTA 5.
