GPU: RTX 5070 Ti
CPU: i7 12700
Ram: 32GB DDR4 @3200mhz
I recently upgraded from a 3070 Ti and my GPU isn't exceeding 60-70% usage in BF6, while the CPU is stuck at 3.8Ghz.
I'm playing at 1440p and both temperatures stay below 60°C.
Could someone help me fix this? I was told the 12700 wouldn't cause a bottleneck with a 5070 Ti, especially at 1440p.

When sharing a troubleshooting thread, it's standard to provide full system details. Please format the specs as follows:
CPU:
CPU cooler:
Motherboard:
Ram:
SSD/HDD:
GPU:
PSU:
Chassis:
OS:
Monitor:
Include the PSU age along with its make and model. BIOS version for your motherboard at this time.
I just upgraded from 3070 ti
Did you use DDU to remove GPU drivers in Safe Mode before replacing the GPU?

PSU: ROG Strix 850 gold works fine; my 3070 Ti ran at 300 watts without problems, so the issue isn’t with the PSU.
I tried using DDU in safe mode.

I requested additional details about your setup beyond the PSU model. If you don’t share further information, what would you think the community should do to help fix your problem? Would reducing your game’s resolution affect the situation? Have you attempted running another game to stress-test the system?

In reality I don't believe the matter lies with any of the other components, particularly because this issue began affecting my GPU. Reducing the resolution had no effect; however, I performed a benchmark on Forza Horizon 5 where the GPU usage stayed near 75% while the CPU was around 45% and clocked at 4.1Ghz. It should have been much higher, but the GPU performance remains questionable. Now I'm considering that my PC wasn't in safe mode during the DDU test, even though I ran it twice.

We require understanding of your additional components. This assists in identifying potential problems, even if you don't think they could matter. Please share all your system details.

What ingame graphics settings are you using?
Also show screenshots from CPU-Z - memory and spd sections.

Confirm if you're utilizing DLSS or multi-frame generation. If applicable, proceed without them.

Game performance will depend on something specific, often the CPU or GPU. If upgrading the GPU didn't improve things, it's likely your CPU is the bottleneck. To assess your CPU's efficiency, run the cpu-Z benchmark on an i7-12700. A score around 779 indicates normal operation.
