I've connected my TV to an antenna, and the picture seems off. I'm not sure if the issue is with the TV itself or the antenna. The TV is around four years old and has been used almost nonstop by the older person. Since I'm not familiar with TVs much, any advice would be helpful. I'd guess it might be related to the image processor, but only because the antenna connection was likely around 80 degrees Fahrenheit, which doesn't seem right for a small TV.
We allowed it some time to settle but it appears to be functioning now. We'll keep you updated and welcome any additional suggestions. Regarding @Caroline, it's a flat panel antenna connected directly to the TV, probably handling amplification on its own. I'm not certain since I didn't purchase it and we often face signal problems with antenna TVs in areas with metal roofs—so it's positioned optimally in our best spot. It felt warm to the touch, and I was aiming for the most useful details possible.
It's a signal problem with the antenna. This has occurred before.
