You're facing performance issues with your G3258 when trying higher frame rates in Minecraft. The hardware isn't up to the task of 1080p60, which is pushing it beyond its capabilities. This explains why you still manage 90+ FPS but notice stuttering and skips. Upgrading to a more powerful CPU like the i5-4590 or better would help stabilize the frame rate and reduce those issues.

Minecraft demands more processing power from the CPU than from the GPU. At around 30 FPS you might still manage to play and record smoothly, but jumping to 60 FPS quickly exceeds what your CPU can handle. Producing video at 60 FPS doubles the CPU workload compared to lower frame rates.

It works smoothly with Minecraft, but I’m still confused about how it functions. I could give it a try.

Is the video saved on the same storage device as the game? Running both might lead to conflicts, as the game could attempt to access or modify the same file while recording.

Usually focuses on MC. An i5 would perform significantly better.

It seems you're experimenting with a different setup. Just confirming the G3258 functionality now.

The Matrox codec was added but isn't visible in Dxtory.

After some trial and error, it looks like you should hold off on recording until your i5 is available. Appreciate the assistance!
