What’s causing my frame rate to decrease in Counter-Strike Global Offensive?
I’m experiencing issues with Counter-Strike: Global Offensive. My frame rate is typically around 200, but it frequently dips to 59-61 and remains at that level for several seconds or even minutes. I’ve experimented with numerous launch configurations—currently utilizing a custom file and various settings like +exec autoexec.cfg -panorama -freq 144 -refresh 144 -nojoy -threads 4 +mat_queue_mode 2 +cl_forcepreload 1 +cl_interp 0 +cl_interp_ratio 1 -novid -tickrate 128 +rate 128000 -nod3d9ex—and I’m unsure where the issue lies. These frame rate fluctuations began shortly after I adjusted my launch options and implemented settings intended to boost performance. The 60 frames per second feels sluggish with substantial input lag, making gameplay often unplayable. Does anyone have insight into what might be causing this?
