I need assistance urgently! I constructed my personal gaming computer several years ago, and for a long period, it performed flawlessly, consistently running games at medium to high settings with framerates of 60 or more—titles like Battlefield 1, PUBG, CS:GO, Overwatch, and Fortnite were all smooth. However, recently, my PC has begun malfunctioning significantly. I'm now experiencing only 20-40 frames per second in Fortnite, a drastic drop from my previous average of 200+ on similar settings. Furthermore, I’ve noticed overall sluggishness, frequent crashes, and unexpected shutdowns. Would someone be able to offer some assistance? I’ve already attempted troubleshooting steps, including reinstalling graphics drivers, completely restarting my computer and installing drivers individually, cleaning the hardware to improve airflow. What further steps should I take?

System specifications: Nvidia GeForce GTX 1060 with 3GB of VRAM, AMD Ryzen 5 1600x processor, 8GB of RAM at a speed of 2400MHz, MSI B350M Gaming Pro motherboard, 1TB hard drive, and a 500-watt power supply.

What are the temperatures and processing load of your central processor and graphics card while playing games?

Do you want to run an antivirus scan on your computer?

What is the brand and model of your power supply unit?

My processor reaches a maximum temperature of 49 degrees Celsius, and my graphics card peaks at 56 degrees Celsius. I performed a malware scan, which revealed no issues. The power supply unit's model is Be Quiet 500w. @rgd1101
