DDR3 remains fully functional and suitable for use.
DDR3 remains functional, 16GB provides enough capacity. Switching to DDR4 demands a new processor and motherboard.
I attempted to run Prey at 1080p with low settings on an i5 4570, 750 Ti, 2GB RAM, 8GB DDR3 — but it caused stuttering.
A reduced quality would eliminate the jitter.
Likely at 1440p with GPU load, it won’t cause a bottleneck. At 1080p with a sluggish CPU, the fast GPU may struggle.
