I've been using Furmark for a long time, but recently I'm questioning its real-world usefulness after hearing many claims about it being unrealistic. Now I'm unsure if I'm applying the most suitable stress test for my overclock. What are your thoughts? Have others recommended Heaven or 3DMark instead?

When it comes to stress testing Furmark remains the most effective method to push your GPU to its limits. Many people argue it doesn’t reflect real-world conditions because of the intense workload. With Furmark, your GPU operates at full capacity as long as you keep running it, which is rare with typical tools. Another point is that 3DMark conducts tests using different components or approaches that vary based on your GPU. For genuine real-world scenarios, opt for 3DMark. If you just want to check power consumption and temperature, Furmark is the better choice.
