What XMP profile am I using?
I'm trying to boost the performance of my Corsair Vengeance 3000 MHz CL15 RAM (CMK16GX4M2B3000C15) for better speed with my 2600x and AsRock B450M Pro 4 MOSI. After using the Ryzen Drm Calculator with XMP profile v1, I got improved timing but couldn't achieve the desired results. Switching to v2 gave me more consistent timings, though they were a bit slower overall. If anyone has tips on the right settings, it would really help a lot. Thanks in advance!
Run Taiphoon Burner to identify your memory type. You're using a B-die with likely Hynix components.
Hmm, these are pretty tough. XMP case 15 needs you to turn off "Gear Down" Mode. Usually Ryzen chips don't handle memory with weird latency and timing issues well. I'd adjust this to 16-16-16-16 if that helps.
Yea but I'd keep Trfc loose at 525 would be good. I'd do 36 instead of 32, tRc at 60, so tCL16 TRCD RD/WR 16-16 tRP 16 tRas 36 tRc 60. tRfc at 525 - 650 (this might affect stability). SOC voltage 1.0250v is fine. DRAM voltage 1.35-1.40v is okay. Keep the rest of the sub timings loose. Sorry for the delayed reply, I was eating chow.
A reduced tRFC can enhance performance by improving efficiency and reducing computational load.
Aim for better results, though slightly less. The core timing configuration will deliver strong performance. You can handle my B-dies 1933mhz with the setup provided. Be aware of a tighter binning at 3600 m/ts—go for a more relaxed setting to maintain stability.
