Motherboard: Asrock z370m pro4, CPU i3-9350kf. In BIOS I adjusted the core voltage to 1.34V and 5.1GHz, but Windows 10 CPU-Z reported 1.255V at idle, rising to about 1.27 during stress tests, sometimes reaching 1.31V. I’m considering raising the voltage further—possibly up to 1.40V—to check the actual readings in CPU-Z and ensuring the CPU doesn’t exceed 1.35V during testing. Is this approach reasonable? Or are there other methods to safely increase voltage for a stable 5.2GHz performance?

Because I was advised that 1.35v in cpuz is sufficient. This might or might not be accurate. Check the motherboard and CPU specifications to see what voltages and frequencies they support. If you exceed those limits, you're taking a risk. Even if higher voltages function, it doesn't ensure long-term stability. In the worst scenario, the system may become unstable and require a reset.

When creating any original character, it's important to ensure your cooling is sufficient.
