I'm looking for a way to obtain Sims 2. Right now the game isn't available through official channels, and customer support no longer provides copies. My options are either purchasing an account on eBay or buying a physical copy (I have a Blu ray drive but prefer digital convenience).

I discovered a seller on eBay offering a Sims 2 account:
https://www.ebay.com/itm/The-Sims-2-Full...Sw3qRbuNFb
But I'm unsure if this is trustworthy. Should I take the risk, or will I end up with a physical copy instead?

if it's that old, I might look for a physical version, though they can vary widely in price—some are very affordable if someone wants to sell them, while others are costly because people believe they're still valuable or even more than their original cost.

Buying accounts violates our service guidelines. You risk losing both access and your funds if you proceed.
Alternatively, you can extract an ISO from the disc and mount it using a virtual drive.
