Diablo 2 is a solid choice. Compared to Eastern Sun 3.00 mod, I’ve put in over 1000 hours. I still revisit it from time to time. In fact, I plan to reinstall them once I’m back from work today. :-)

I enjoyed CJ, yet I concur that Tommy was equally my favorite character in GTA.

The sole title I've engaged with extensively is Morrowind.

CS sparks my interest in how online gaming functions at 56kbps connections, even when not fully utilizing the speed. I notice no Battle Realms available, but Max Payne is on the list. Replay value appears to depend on future mods for WC 3 and Command & Conquer. Right now I’m focused on emulators from early 2000s (Zsnes/VGS/ePSXe) and ngemu is my primary source.

From the list, here are some highlights: we discovered the first PC that could handle 3D games back in 2001. Notable titles include Age of Empires II, Rise of Nations, CS1.6 (03-), BF1942 demo, BF2 (05-09), CoD4 (07-10), Flatout 1, and a lot of Runescape.

GTA Vice City (though I really enjoyed flying the dodo in 3) Splinter Cell Call of Duty: Finest Hour Destroy All Humans 1&2 Battlefield Vietnam (not BFBC2 Vietnam, noobs) Battlefield 2 for PS2 version (I found it extremely enjoyable to switch into other soldiers on the battlefield—that’s one thing I wish Battlefield would bring back for its campaign instead of its repetitive characters and story). Dark Souls stands out as the sole modern game that truly impressed me. I nearly quit gaming altogether until I tried Dark Souls.

For Europeans it was always CS 1.6 for multiplayer (LAN) when GTA 3 was popular, though Vice City really stood out. NFS:U was decent, but Underground 2 surpassed it completely. Top racing game available.
