Your top pick from the early 2000s was probably a classic like *Half-Life*, *Metal Gear Solid*, or *The Sims*. If you enjoyed immersive stories, *Portal* and *BioShock* also stand out. Feel free to share more if you'd like!

I found a few titles on the list that really caught my eye. It’s a challenging decision, but playing GTA Vice City with my brothers came up most often in my mind. I also enjoyed Cod and NFS quite a bit. Since I grew up as a PlayStation gamer, Halo wasn’t on my radar.

My first PC game was HL1 when I was around six years old. Later I enjoyed Opposing Forces and CS 1.6. All of these were played without internet, so I always used bots in CS 1.6. After that I tried Doom 3, which I really like.

Included CS1 and HL2 (HL1 was from 1998, so it wasn't counted)

Voya Nui online/ MNO offers browser-based games you're familiar with, though not the most impressive. It seems they still allow downloading them.

I faced a tough decision. I invested countless hours on Gran Turismo 3, mainly to compete in online leaderboards. Back then, we shared times in forums and sent memory cards globally for verification. For racing games, I’m more inclined toward Underground 1 and 2. GTA3 was decent, but Vice City often gave me motion sickness. The story and Tommy Vercetti were the highlights, though I feel we’ve lacked a strong protagonist lately.
