I also tried the Vive at a gathering—it was really pleasant. I missed getting a chance to test the Oculus instead.

You can use an Android device with a Google Cardboard setup or a compatible Gear VR for streaming games. It's a convenient and budget-friendly option. Good luck! -Sam

After testing both models over a long time, I believe the Vive performs better since it accurately tracks room size and controller position relative to the headset.

I plan to get an Oculus Rift plus a touch controller or a Vive for gaming. I prefer using the touch or Vive controllers instead of an Xbox controller.
