I need to buy a VPN that functions effectively in Australia, but I'm struggling due to the numerous options available. I'm using Windows 8.1.

What’s up? Are you concerned the government might track and take your data? That’s a valid worry after they just passed that law. Checking out LifeHacker’s article here—http://www.lifehacker.com.au/2014/03/five-best-vpn-service-providers-3/—could really help. I’m also open to hearing other opinions, but for now it’s my go-to source.

Internet connection quality seems decent according to what I've heard. I haven't actually used it yet.

I picked ibVPN since it offered servers in Japan and a range of protocols. They also bundle their ibDNS service with premium plans. It wasn’t the most affordable choice, but it met my needs.
