I noticed my mini fridge is making my TV in the gaming room flicker when it turns on. I thought it was just the TV since it's an older LCD, but after replacing a 55-inch one yesterday it kept happening. I read that it might be lowering the voltage because it uses a lot of power when switching on. I can't run a long extension cord from the mini fridge to another outlet because all outlets in this room are connected to the same breaker. It seems my PC is probably getting affected too, and I'm not really noticing it since I have a 1200W PSU. I have a fairly powerful setup: 1200W PSU, RTX 3090 TI, 64GB RAM, 11700k CPU, 6 RGB fans, water cooled CPU. I realized I should probably get a UPS to protect both my PC and my new TV. I found a few on Amazon, but I'm not sure which one would fit best. I don't want something that keeps my system running for 15-20 minutes after a power outage, and I just want to avoid any damage to my equipment when the mini fridge cycles on.

Most trusted brands usually provide a calculator on-site to help determine your requirements. Among the quality brands I have used are CyberPower, but I now prefer APC exclusively.
Power Supply Calculator - PSU Calculator | OuterVision is a suitable option for entering your parameters and receiving recommendations for power supplies as well as backup battery systems.
Based on my own experience in a home with insufficient wiring for the appliances, I would advise rearranging the setup to avoid inconvenience. If possible, move the fridge to another circuit. Remember that extension cords must be appropriately sized for high-demand devices.

I'm trying to prevent moving it but if that's the only choice, I might have to. Upgrading the breaker wouldn't help much, it seems the wiring in my apartment is the issue.

If you reside in an apartment, any such modifications must be approved by your landlord. Since most wiring is designed for a particular load and breaker size, switching to a larger breaker could pose fire risks or damage the wiring.

A solid battery setup ensures stable power delivery to your PC, but it also requires adequate current draw for proper charging. If this balance is well-managed, it can mitigate the surge in amperage during condenser startup. I would look for a system that allows adjustable sensitivity settings.

I saw this one
https://www.amazon.com/CyberPower-C...96-2a7862dc1716&ref_=pd_gw_ci_mcx_mr_hp_atf_m
I need something to safeguard my PC and TV when the condenser activates. If that fails and moving the fridge is the only choice, then do it.
Also, when you mention battery, do you mean the UPS was being discussed?

Actually, you don't necessarily need to purchase the larger ones. You're only concerned about preventing a temporary drop in power that could affect your PC or TV, and you're mainly focused on saving money. Buying the $200 model isn't a big concern for you.

You're looking for what's known as a line conditioner. That will maintain your voltage so the plug into the wall in your computer strip stays stable, but you'll still need an electrician to resolve the underlying issues.

I don't question anything, but I did talk to my girlfriend about it today. I realized both our rooms and the gaming room share the same circuit breaker, which might be problematic. What steps would need to be taken to resolve this? And how much would it cost?
