I received my PC in 2020 as a Christmas gift. It features an Intel i5 9600k processor, an RTX 2070 graphics card, and a 650-watt gold power supply rated at 80%. I've been thinking about possible upgrades to reach the 30xx or 40xx GPUs, especially since my current PSU might support them for 1080p high/mix gaming. I play AAA titles, flight simulations, and car sims, so I need to check if the power supply can handle newer cards or if I should switch to a Series X model. The PS5 or Series X seems more suitable given my interest in Flight Simulator 20XX and Xbox controllers with the same pattern. I’m not sure if my system will still work well until 2026 for AAA games, or if it’s time to upgrade or get a next-gen console. Additionally, I enjoy VR on the Quest platform.

You can still upgrade to models such as the RX 7800XT, but you need to verify if your CPU limits your performance. Another option is to use FSR3 for some free frame rates.
